Hi! I’m Rachel. My ceramic work incorporates local and recycled materials, is hand carved and fired in special atmospheric kilns. The work showcases repetitive patterns such as flower petals, insect textures, breeze block shapes, woodgrains, and plant symmetry. A platter evokes an opened nutshell. A poppy seed pod inspires a jar form.
These organic natural forms make each meal a celebration!
